Compensation: £53,502 - £69,616 dependant on experience

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the delivery of a significant capital investment programme at Ports of Jersey on a fixed term contract for 11 months.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role, working closely with project teams and budget holders to ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting and clear insight across capital projects.

You will play a key role in supporting the annual capital programme, helping to ensure investment decisions are well-informed and financially robust.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as the lead finance partner for capital projects
• Delivering monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting for capital investment
• Providing insight, challenge and support to project managers and stakeholders
• Monitoring spend against budgets and identifying risks and opportunities
• Ensuring strong financial control and governance across capital activity

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Experience in management accounting and/or finance business partnering
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Confident working with non-financial stakeholders and providing challenge
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused approach

Experience in capital projects, infrastructure or operational environments is desirable but not essential.
