At Bupa, purpose meets possible. Join us and help shape a future where healthcare is more connected, more personal and more human.

We’re a global healthcare leader trusted by millions and committed to helping people to live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. Healthcare is changing, and so are we. We’re investing in more clinics, better systems and smarter, more connected ways to help our customers. As we continue to expand our services and invest in innovation, you’ll help create a healthcare system that meets people where they are, responds to what they need and leaves them better than before.

Here, your work has purpose, your voice matters and your future is full of possibility. Just imagine the impact you could make.

The purpose of this role

We're seeking a driven and collaborative Finance Business Partner to join our Technology FP&A team. This is a high-impact role that will contribute to the strategic financial direction of the business. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Technology leadership team to align financial goals with strategic priorities. Applying your financial lens, you’ll transform data into meaningful insights and deliver high-quality commercial acumen with deep financial expertise across cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and be a catalyst for continuous improvement—enhancing reporting, streamlining financial processes, and helping shape the future of finance within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, is proactive and can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide monthly management reporting and insights, forecasts, risks and opportunities and all associated commentary and insights
  • Oversee the delivery of accurate and complete financial results, including overseeing month end close, and supporting and educating business stakeholders on finance policies and procedures
  • Provide commercial and financial knowledge to business stakeholders, and present information in a way to influence decision making to drive optimal financial business performance
  • Support the delivery of forecast and annual operating plan as part of the 3-year annual planning process - includes leading the collation, analysis and providing information to support throughout preparation process, as well as managing the accurate submission into the finance system
  • Manage regular forecasts and leverage knowledge and relationships to proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and assessment of business cases and financial models
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including a strong understanding of key activities and drivers.

Why you’ll love it?
We support our people to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. From providing initiatives that develop careers to looking after our people’s health, wellbeing and futures. Through the Viva Healthier and Happier program, we’re providing health benefits for everyone who works at Bupa, no matter their role.

What you’ll need to make it possible

We are seeking a finance professional with a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field and working towards/completed their CA or CPA.

You will be highly organised, outcome-oriented, and capable of balancing short-term deliverables with long-term planning. You should have a proven track record of building trusted relationships with stakeholders and influencing outcomes. Strong commercial acumen, a strategic mindset, and exceptional analytical skills are vital, alongside the ability to drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong technical expertise in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning is essential.

At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are continuing to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Bupa is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a workplace and environment that is free of discrimination, bullying and harassment. We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ applicants.
