Te tūranga – The role
As the finance business partner, you willundertake accounting tasks to ensure that the outputs of the Finance Unit are met, especially in the compilation and reporting of financial information.
Thiswillinclude finance business partnering with directorates/business units to provide sound financial advice and accounting support along with assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and supporting planning,budgetingand forecasting processes.
Ō pūkenga – About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Tertiary qualification in accounting.
Working towards or holds a Chartered Accountant membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New ZealandCA status (or international equivalent).
Knowledge of accounting standards is essential.
Advanced computer knowledge, especially spreadsheets and accounting applications.
Experience withTechnologyOnewould be an advantage.
Experience with GST, FBT and NRWT tax legislation and compliance issues would be an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication, relationship management, and analytical skills; collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
