What you’ll be doing:

As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with Velocity Frequent Flyer and Virgin Australia’s commercial teams to provide meaningful financial insights and commercial support that influence key decisions. You’ll take the lead in developing compelling business cases that drive strategic initiatives, while owning forecasting and delivering clear, actionable analysis to help optimise performance and guide business outcomes.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

• Have a degree in Business, Economics or a related commercial discipline, with CA/CPA (or equivalent) viewed favourably
• Bring solid experience in commercial finance, with a strong track record in business partnering and supporting commercial teams
• Are confident developing KPIs, improving processes, and consistently delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
• Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and communicate complex financial insights clearly
• Think strategically and can translate insights into practical initiatives that drive real business outcomes
• Have a strong understanding of commercial drivers, business processes, and how to navigate risk and change in a dynamic environment
• Are highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in EPM system like OneStream or exposure to financial service, loyalty programs or airline seen as a plus
