The Position

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be the strategic financial advisor to the Senior Manager, Finance & Operations (F&O) for Novo Nordisk Tunisia. You will conduct financial analyses and represent the F&O team in cross-functional meetings, contributing to financial strategies and compliance measures. In this multifaceted role, you will create value by overseeing core finance, accounting, supply chain, and procurement operations, preparing budgets and forecasts, and driving local compliance and process excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial planning and reporting: Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting cycle for Novo Nordisk Tunisia. Prepare high-quality budgets and forecasts that support our local strategy and align with global goals.
  • Performance monitoring and analysis: Build and enhance financial models for resource allocation, and sales and cost tracking. Proactively recommend and follow up on corrective actions to deliver targets.
  • Business partnering: Provide robust, data-driven recommendations on proposals and investment opportunities. Translate financial insights and market performance into clear, timely management reporting for Novo Nordisk Tunisia leadership and regional stakeholders.
  • Accounting, tax, and procurement compliance: Partner with Regional/Business Area Centres of Excellence and Global Business Services (India) to ensure local compliance and high-quality deliverables across accounting, tax, and procurement, and to align local financial processes with Novo Nordisk’s global standards and organisational goals.
  • Supply chain execution and accounts receivable: Collaborate with the regional Supply Chain Centre of Excellence to ensure efficient, compliant delivery to local customers. This includes cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory/Quality, and Market Access & Public Affairs, building strong relationships with distributors, and managing collections with close monitoring of trade receivables.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who can tick most of the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of finance experience, preferably within a multinational environment
  • Fluency in English and French spoken and written is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage
  • Proven analytical skills; advanced Excel, modelling skills and strong presentation skills
  • Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS) and understanding of internal controls
  • Knowledge of Tunisian tax and statutory requirements is a strong plus

About The Department

You will join the Novo Nordisk Tunisia Finance & Operations team, which includes Finance, IT, Procurement, and Supply Chain, reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Operations. Our Tunisia affiliate is a small but high-performing and dynamic team, recognised as a “Best Place to Work” in 2024. The role is based in Tunis, with limited regional travel expected (primarily to Turkey, where our Business Area is located).
