Job Description

Third-party risk management is one of the most critical and evolving disciplines in financial services — and this role puts you at the center of it. As a Vendor Management Portfolio Manager in Human Resources, you will shape how we assess, govern, and manage risk across our third-party relationships. Your work will directly influence executive decision-making, strengthen our control environment, and advance regulatory alignment across the organization. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, partner with senior stakeholders across risk, technology, procurement, and controls, and help build the future of third-party assurance at JPMorganChase. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, risk, and cross-functional collaboration, we want to hear from you.

As a Vendor Management Portfolio Manager in Human Resources, you will lead the oversight and continuous improvement of our third-party assessment activities and broader assurance program. You will define and execute assurance strategies, shape operating models, and advance governance, risk management, and controls practices across the organization. Your insights and executive reporting will help us make smarter decisions about third-party risk, and your cross-functional partnerships will ensure we maintain a coordinated, forward-looking approach. This role offers you the opportunity to influence strategy, elevate how we manage third-party risk, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support risk and control analysis, reporting, and insights while adhering to data handling and security requirements
  • Promote reuse-first and AI-assisted approaches to improve control testing, issue management, and action plan processes while maintaining auditability and regulatory alignment
  • Monitor industry developments, emerging threats, and evolving best practices to continuously strengthen third-party risk management
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure cybersecurity and data protection requirements are embedded in third-party relationships
  • Develop and present actionable risk insights and recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders
