Position: Business Controller

Department: Finance

Core Mission

To act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the commercial organization, driving sustainable growth and profitability through robust financial planning, pricing governance, investment discipline, and insightful performance analysis. The role ensures strong financial control, supports informed decision-making, and builds financial capability across the business while partnering closely with Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to deliver Galderma’s strategic and financial objectives.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly sales and P&L forecasts, including Rolling Forecast and annual Budget cycles.

  • Partner with Marketing on NPD business cases and collaborate with Commercial team on investment evaluation, including ROI analysis.

  • Manage end‑to‑end pricing setup (standard cost, ZPL, selling price, customer price, transfer pricing).

  • Act as key controller for Coupaprocurement system and provide PO approval.

  • Control and monitor trade and marketing investments, validate sales incentives, and act as Finance Business Partner to the commercial team.

  • Estimate month-end accruals for all trade and marketing-related investments.

  • Deliver monthly P&L reports by Business Unit and key customers.

  • Provide clear sales and P&L commentary for management; conduct pricing analysis (Price/Volume/Mix) and deep-dive performance reviews.

  • Support CFO with financial analysis and presentation materials.

  • Lead Galderma internal control assessments and support CFO on all internal control matters.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on S&OP and Stock-in-Trade alignment.

  • Coach team members and provide financial knowledge training to business partners.

Qualifications

Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position:

  • Coach team members and provide financial knowledge training to business partners.

  • Solid understanding of P&L drivers, trade spend management, and pricing principles.

  • Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel/financial modeling capability.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong cross-functional partnering ability.
