About the role Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings and execute the Overheads efficiency Strategy across the Global IT Function to support them in achieving their ambitious cost growth targets• Focus on IT Projects portfolio.Knowledge of Capex/Opex accounting treatments To ensure accurate and timely financial management information is prepared for IT Stakeholders and key Leadership reviews, with detailed analysis of spend presented in a highly accessible format to ensure adhesion of non-finance Leaders• Work in close partnership with the individual Budget holders, Portfolio Management Team and the Group consolidation team to provide accurate, timely and comprehensive annual Global budgets as well as Monthly/Quarterly re-forecasts and actuals• To provide support for monthly Financial review meetings with Senior budget holders including the Global CIO and to act as a key point of contact to support the budget holders with commercial business, capital and investment proposals• Feed into a monthly presentation of the Function Financial performance, full year forecast and Budget variances including the reporting of Financial opportunities and risk • To build strong relations across Group Finance and each Market and provide financial support to cost control decision making• Support the development of relevant KPIs, reporting and analysis in partnership with the Global Overheads Team Reporting Manager • Review of monthly commitments and preparations of monthly accruals and prepayments reconciliations including timely follow up on queries• Be comfortable dealing with and working through issues and operational challenges with the Global IT Teams, getting into the appropriate level of detail to ensure your understanding of their cost drivers and your ability to input into our Global Cost or Business Reviews • Be dependent on your resourcefulness and ability to influence and partner with the Function’s non-finance leads About You Qualified Accountant Proactive approach to business partnering• Detail orientated but able to see the bigger picture.
