Job Description

Our client is looking for

a Finance Associate to join their team in Dublin, Ireland.

Duration - 11 months

Location - Hybrid at Balls bridge (3 days onsite)

Summary:

The Finance Operations landscape is changing fast — manual processes that defined Order to Cash for decades are being fundamentally reimagined through AI, automation, and intelligent workflows. This role provides operational execution across credit risk, collections, and portfolio health for a defined sub-region within EMEA. You'll work hands-on across the credit-to-cash lifecycle, delivering the rigour and analysis that keeps the portfolio healthy — while the broader team drives strategic transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute credit reviews for new applications — gather financials, run checks, prepare recommendation memos for approval

  • Monitor existing book credit health — flag deterioration, trigger re-reviews, update risk classifications

  • Support Monthly Invoicing (MI) mandate — track utilisation vs. limits, flag breaches, maintain MI tracker, liaise with Sales on compliance

  • Prepare bad debt provision analysis — write-off pipeline,

  • Support collections activity — prepare write-off packets, track payment commitments

  • First-line support for day-to-day O2C operations — dispute triage, cash application queries, billing adjustments

  • Partner with outsourced teams to drive accountability against SLAs

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with SOX, internal policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Leverage Meta's AI tools (e.g., Metamate, internal automation platforms) daily — not as a nice-to-have, but as a core part of how you work

Strategic Partnership & Business Advisory

  • Develop understanding of the business drivers in your geography — revenue trends, competitive dynamics, economic factors — to inform portfolio decisions

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for Sales on credit and collections matters — communicating portfolio insights with clarity

What Success Looks Like

  • Credit applications processed within SLA with clean and clear credit summary recommendations

  • Portfolio reporting delivered on time with actionable commentary — not just numbers, but insight on what's moving and why

  • Routine O2C issues resolved at first line — minimal escalation for standard items

  • Audit trail always clean — SOX evidence readily available, documentation current

  • Strategic credibility: stakeholders see you as a reliable, detail-oriented partner

Requirements

  • Finance domain expertise: experience in Finance Operations, Order to Cash, or adjacent functions (Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Sales Ops) in a multinational environment

  • Credit risk assessment experience (financials interpretation, credit agency reports)

  • Experience working with outsourced operations teams (BPO/shared services)

  • Data fluency: comfortable working with data — understanding data quality, interpreting analytics, and using data to drive decisions

  • Process discipline: attention to detail suited to SOX-controlled environments

  • Communication: able to draft clear credit review summaries, escalation summaries, and stakeholder updates

  • Self-starter: manages own workload across multiple deliverables without constant direction

Benefits

  • Competitive salary

  • Healthcare contribution and inclusion in company pension scheme

  • Work laptop and phone

  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus paid bank holidays

  • Expanding workforce with potential for career progression for top performers
