Job Description

Primary Details

Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeTo assist with accounting and reporting activities ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data and to liaise with external and internal customers to formulate and implement policy

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure that all transactions are documented correctly to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP or relevant financial reporting standards

• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and intercompany transactions

• Adhere strictly to audit and management requirements, along with complying with the company policy and procedures

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

• Oversee all requests are responded to by the team in a timely, professional manner

• Provide timely and accurate reports monitoring and analysis to the business

• Complete month end and run reports assigned by the business

• Resolve escalated issues raised by the team

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• A CPA license is an advantage but not required

Required Experience

• 2 years relevant experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills

• Strong customer service focus and stakeholder management

• Process Oriented

• Proficiency in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

• Strong focus on details

• Problem solving and analytical skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a shared service environment is desired but not essential

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge in Accounting principles
