Finance Associate | 3+ PQE | Hong Kong

Our client, a leading international offshore law firm, is seeking a 3+ PQE Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Finance team in Hong Kong. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer with offshore experience to work on complex, cross-border finance transactions within a dynamic and supportive environment. The firm is also open to considering Senior Associates with strong offshore experience for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a broad range of finance transactions, including leveraged and acquisition finance, syndicated lending, and structured finance.
• Handle offshore finance matters, with a focus on Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands (BVI), and other offshore jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance documentation, including loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements.
• Provide strategic advice to banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients on cross-border financing structures and regulatory considerations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of PQE in finance-related work, gained at a reputable onshore or offshore law firm.
• Senior Associates with strong offshore experience will also be considered for this role.
• Strong understanding of Cayman Islands and/or BVI law.
• Experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, or structured finance is highly desirable.
