About the Role

As an Assistant Manager Finance (CAPEX), you will support the General Ledger function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and compliance with IFRS standards. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders across the organization to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with ticket sales reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and related-party transactions.
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules, lease accounting records, and financial trackers.
• Prepare accounting entries and day-to-day reconciliations.
• Conduct detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Perform variance analysis on P&L and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing management reports, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Maintain CAPEX tracking and monitor open purchase orders and requisitions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent).
• Experience working within the GCC region.
• Experience using Oracle ERP/Fusion applications.
