Toyota of El Cajon is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team. This position will assist in processing approved finance transactions and expediting finance department documentation to the business office.

Major Essential Duties:
- Processing financing and leasing deals and ensuring accuracy while adhering to all local, state, and federal guidelines
- Securing the expeditious funding of all contracts
- Verifying customer insurance
- Calling Lenders for automotive pay-offs
- Contacting customers for stipulations
- Following up with Lenders on needed DMV documents (lien releases, titles, etc.)
- Collecting on NSF checks
- Enter Due Bills
- Inputting deal information into databases using Excel and Word
- Verify flats, fees, and claims on deals
- Managing deferred payments
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Understanding and able to comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
- Automotive business office or finance experience preferred.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees, and F&I vendors, as representatives of the dealership.
- Must be willing to understand and adhere to compliance regulations – (NPI)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information and to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
- Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor.
