Overall governance
• Cascade and implement financial planning and investor relations related policies and guidelines related to subordinates and relevant stakeholders to ensure that work practices are aligned with policies.
• Propose, periodically revise, and gain approval on work processes and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
• Develop, propose, obtain approval, monitor and optimize utilization of unit’s resources and budget against company’s budget, to ensure optimization and the right prioritization of resources and budget.
Function-related accountabilities
1. New investment and financial plan
• Provide key recommendations on deal considerations, including structuring, valuation, and negotiation in order to minimize the cost of funds and ensure the financial stability of the company.
• Conduct relevant business/financial models to assist with management decision-making and to support M&A, joint venture, asset acquisition, and/or divestment transactions.
• Contribute to financial planning and decision-making at the top executive level to develop and implement financial strategies that are in alignment with the company's long-term business goals.
2. Funding plan
• Manage, monitor, and support management on the development of short-term, medium-term, and long-term fundraising plans, as well as coordination for input in the development of the group’s financial strategy and plan to ensure sufficient cash flow to support business operations and new investment.
• Manage, monitor, and provide suggestions on performing analysis on money market performance, trends, and variances, in order to efficiently manage short-term and medium-term investment and to ensure that company is able to adjust sources of funds accordingly for optimal cost in a timely manner.
3. Financial risk management & Credit management
• Manage, monitor, and provide suggestions on monitoring domestic and international financial market, analyzing current situation for potential financial impacts and monitoring related financial risks, as well as identification of short-term and long-term financial risk and credit risk (including foreign exchange rate risk and interest rate risk, and risk related to a line of credit) and development of mitigation strategy and plan, to ensure company’s financial sustainability and that company can timely adapt.
• Solidify relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and relevant parties in order to ensure smooth operations regarding financial risk management.
4. Investor Relations
• Manage and control all activities in preparing and disclosing information and reports to the public (e.g., MD&A, press release, 56-1 report) in order to create corrective understanding to investment community and relevant regulators.
• Manage and control all investor relations activities arrangement, including but not limited to the annual meeting, quarterly earnings accouncements, conference calls, etc., to ensure necessary documents and materials are completely prepared in a timely manner.
• Manage and control junior members in developing documents/ reports/ presentations to relevant parties to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of information provided in a timely manner.
• Monitor the company's share value and analyze competitors and the competitive environment in order to evaluate the current situation of the company from the investors' perspective and provide corrective actions/ escalate to relevant parties.
• Solidify relationships with stakeholders, creditors, investors, analysts, and rating agencies to enhance relationships with all stated groups of persons.
• Establish and secure the company's reputation by demonstrating proactive, consistent, and clear communication between internal and external parties.
• Initiate creative new ways of communication to enhance engagement and sustain consistent communication with shareholders and investors.
• Manage the coordination of key activities with SEC/SET to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of information disclosure to SEC/SET.
