Job Description

Overall governance?

• Cascade WHA Group’s and the Utilities hub's vision, direction, strategy and targets into Finance and Investor Relation department's goals, targets and initiatives as well as review, validate, gain approval on, and communicate the function’s goals, strategy, targets, and initiatives, to ensure that work optimally contributes to company’s sustainable growth and steering towards being a tech company.

• Propose, periodically revise and gain approval on Finance and Investor Relation department's policies, standards, and guidelines, to ensure enablement to business operations, efficient operation and alignment with relevant rules & regulations.

• Approve/Veto revision of work processes and procedures to ensure optimization of business operations.

• Provide recommendations to the Group CEO, BH CEOs, board of directors, top management team and other relevant parties regarding Finance and Investor Relation works, to enable and advance WHA Group’s and all business hub’s targets.

• Cultivate capabilities & empower teams and the next generation of leaders through provision of guidance and utilization of coaching techniques to engender a continuous improvement environment, and to ensure capabilities readiness.

Function-related accountabilities

• Develop, harmonize, drive the execution and review short, medium and long-term strategic roadmaps for Finance and Investor Relations department to ensure efficient support for the organization's sustainable growth while ensuring the practicality in execution.

• Lead the identification of related initiatives/projects, prioritization, and assignment of responsible parties, as well as monitor the execution of Finance and Investor Relations initiatives/projects (including transformation initiatives), to ensure synergy and integration across relevant stakeholders, and ensure achievement of initiatives'/projects’ objectives.

• Approve/Veto operational plans of units under supervision to ensure work operations optimization and improvement opportunity.

• Lead and evaluate the implementation of annual and long-run overall financial and investment strategy, and the execution of financial planning and budgeting, including financial modeling, financial analysis for feasibility study, M&A, proposals, business valuation and rating evaluation (TRIS), analysis of business performance, monitoring of annual budget and 5-yr financial projection in accordance with company’s strategies, dividend planning, and financial risk management, to support financial operations coinciding with the business plan.

• Lead and evaluate the implementation of all aspects of funding activities such as conducting funding plan, securing long-term bank loans and/or debentures, interest hedging, optimizing funding costs by refinancing, managing loan and debentures agreements, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions and credit rating agencies, managing liquidity and AP payment process, and controlling petty cash and bank guarantees, in order to ensure financing operations are undertaken accurately, completely and timely.

• Lead and evaluate the implementation of all aspects of investor relations and ESG activities such as disclosing and communicating financial performance & reports and business information, planning IR activities, and analyzing peers' performance and market outlook to ensure corrective understanding among investors, communities, and regulators toward WHA operations.

• Drive and reinforce the implementation of sustainability campaigns to ensure awareness regarding environmental, social, and good governance matters across internal and external stakeholders and to create corporate good image.

• Lead the coordination with all units across all business hubs to ensure vital information is well received, and to further process for disclosure to SEC/SET in a timely manner.

• Establish and sustain mutually beneficial relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders such as financial institutions, rating agencies investors, and prospect investors, to ensure effective and rapid cooperation.

• Keep abreast of ESG best practices and trends to enable related work and propose solutions that fit with WHA Group’s context to the top management teams to reinforce operational performance.

• Develop, propose, obtain approval, monitor, and optimize utilization of resources and budget against company’s budget, to ensure optimization and the right prioritization of resources and budget.
