About the Agency

Our client, eu-LISA, is the European Union Agency responsible for operating large-scale IT systems that help keep Europe safe and support cooperation in areas like security, migration, and justice. Civitta provides temporary workers to eu-LISA.

We are looking for

Finance and Budget Assistant within the Financial Management Sector.

The position is based in Tallinn, Estonia. It is primarily an on-site role with the possibility of hybrid working, in line with eu-LISA's policies.

About the Job

In this role, you will provide administrative support for technical tasks and financial management under the supervision of staff members. You will be responsible for handling financial document flows, assisting with payment requests, and supporting the Agency's asset management.

You will

  • Perform duties as a data entry agent for payment requests.
  • Contribute to data management and the assembly of payment files using financial management software.
  • Coordinate and manage financial document flows.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
  • Handle the filing and archiving of documentation supporting financial transactions.
  • Support the processing of VAT refund requests and the preparation of VAT exemption certificates.
  • Support the Agency’s asset management and contract follow-up.
  • Use internal systems including ARES, SUMMA, and ABAC.

Requirements

  • A university degree (minimum 3 years) awarded by an EU Member State, or recognised as equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance.
  • Good command of written and spoken English (minimum C1).
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
