Salary: Band H15 (£16.35 per hour)

Hours of work: 35 Hours a week (Monday to Friday: 8.30am-4.00pm with 30min lunch), term time plus Teacher Training days and one week paid during the school holidays

A bit about us:

Nursteed Community Primary School opened in September 2002 and is an attractive modern school serving the community on the south-east of Devizes. It is a one form entry school with a class for each year group.

All about the role:

We are seeking a positive, organised and cheerful person to be the first point of contact for visitors to school and to run all aspects of the school office; carrying out all administration and financial control duties. The ability to manage time and distractions well and to be able to work with regular interruption and under pressure is essential.
You must be an excellent communicator both in the spoken and written word, with a good level of skill in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Office. In addition to excellent administration skills, you should have experience of using (or a willingness to learn) school budget and administration software (FMS) and information management (SIMS).

This role is key to the smooth running of the school and the successful candidate must show a willingness to continue their professional development through relevant training. The ability to treat all information in confidence and to have an understanding of safeguarding in the school context is a prerequisite of the job.
