Job Description

Responsible for managing the full set of accounts and overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including: Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations. Manage daily accounting functions such as transaction recording, journal entries, invoice issuance, purchase orders, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules. Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including debtor aging and collection follow-ups. Process accounts payable, verify supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where necessary. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience handling a full set of accounts and multi-currency transactions. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and ABSS (MYOB) Knowledge of project accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
