Those in accounting at PwC will focus on managing financial records, analysing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making.

About the Role

  • Preparation of monthly management reports as per Singapore Reporting Standards which includes but not limited to Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Notes to Financial Statements, etc.
  • Preparation andanalysingof financial reports to all partners and managers, which includes but not limited to trade debtors’ reports, WIP reports, costs analysis for Operating Statements, etc.
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditors for year-endauditCollate documents and confidential documents for auditors to sight as well as preparing necessary equipment and access pass during the whole audit period.
  • Coordinate andliaisingwithTaxTeam on Corporate, GST and Commercial Tax submission for the Company onquarterly, half yearly and yearly basis.Need to be familiar with the local tax regulation so as to be able to answer the tax queries from tax agent or tax authority.
  • Responsible in providing information and review reports prepared byTransferPricing Team to ensure accuracy.
  • Preparation of XBRL filing for the Companyin accordance withlocal Singapore regulation.
  • Initiate and liaise withCorporateSecretary for Board resolutions or fulfilment of corporate statutoryrequirement
  • Applying for Certificate of Residence for the Company in respect of withholding tax treaty between Singapore and other countries.
  • Managing the financing matters whichincludesarranging of drawdown and renewal of bank loans,advisingFinance Head on latest loan interest rateand etc.Acting as key contact person with the local bank for other banking related matters.
  • Assistto call in to ACRA,IRASor other local government bodies as and whenrequiredtohelp toaddress engagementteam’squestions or for local requirement submission
  • Preparation of mid-month and monthly payment and liaising with the engagement team on the payment status.
  • Assistin preparation of reportingpackagesuch as half year Disclosure Template, ASEANZ Tax Pack reporting, etc.
  • Assistin special audit, namely Agreed Upon Procedures as required by Indonesia Transfer Pricing team on HQ cost allocations, which include liaising with SG auditors and handling the audit field work and in person document sightings.
  • Assistwith other financial projects or ad-hoc duties as assigned.

About You

  • A Degree in Accounting,Financeor other related discipline
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years and above of relevant work experience
  • Good working knowledge of local accounting requirements, Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore (FRSs) is a MUST
  • Knowledge in Singapore tax rules and regulations (such as Singapore GST and Withholding Tax) arerequired
  • Ability to communicate with various territories and level of personnel in writing and verbal format.
  • Well-versed in MS Office, especially Excel, including working with pivot tables, HLOOKUPS, VLOOKUPS Ability to perform automation of reports using relevant tools.
  • Able to multitask, including the ability to manage several competing priorities at the same time.
  • Knowledge and skills in performing financial analysis is a plus.
  • Energetic and self-motivated, and the ability to work independently yet achieve set goals and targets within deadlines is preferred.
