Job Description

Our award-winning client is seeking a Finance Advisor to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the Facility. You will analyze financial data, participate in projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cost reporting and provide financial advice to minimize manufacturing costs.
• Manage the development of the annual budget and monthly financial outlook.
• Oversee month-end closing tasks and reporting.
• Analyze proposed projects and evaluate capital appropriations.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial controls.
• Mentor and train financial staff.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance (advanced degree or certification a plus).
• 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of finance, business management, cost accounting, and GAAP.
• Experience with internal controls, including SOX.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems creatively, and work independently.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus).
