We’re looking for a:

Finance Analyst

As the Finance Analyst, you will play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, and control activities, supporting month-end close, IFRS-related initiatives, and management reporting. The position combines hands-on analysis with process improvement and reporting automation to enhance financial integrity and decision-making.

What will you do?

• Support month-end close through complex reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
  
• Perform IFRS validations and support implementation of IFRS-related process improvements and reporting initiatives.
  
• Coordinate the budgeting process by preparing templates, collecting and validating inputs, and consolidating results.
  
• Prepare management reports, weekly flash reports, and ad-hoc analyses with clear explanations of key movements and drivers.
  
• Execute controller-type controls to ensure report-to-GL accuracy, data integrity, and audit-ready documentation.
  
• Monitor suspense and clearing accounts, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated reports, dashboards, and standardized templates to reduce manual effort.
  
• Support internal and external audit and reporting requirements by providing schedules, analyses, and explanations.
  
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Actuarial, and Group Finance teams to meet reporting deadlines and resolve issues.

What makes you the right fit?

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent (HBO level).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance reporting, controlling, or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, month-end close processes, reconciliations, and budgeting cycles.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with large datasets and maintaining accurate, well-documented working papers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments under tight

Preferred:

• Experience in insurance or financial services environments.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or reporting automation tools.
• IFRS-related certifications or specialized training.
