1. Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Lead the review/analyses of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic financial plans for all hospitality assets.
• Coordinate with asset managers, hotel operators, and finance teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
• Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, providing actionable insights.
2. Cash Flow Management
• Prepare periodic cash flow statements to ensure liquidity planning and working capital efficiency.
• Monitor receivables, payables, project cash flows, operator remittances, and capital expenditure requirements.
• Identify cash flow risks and propose mitigation strategies.
3. Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for hospitality assets, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Track expenses, operational KPIs, and performance trends across hotels.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to enhance asset profitability and returns.
4. Support for Asset Performance Optimization
• Collaborate with business development and asset management teams to evaluate financial implications of deals, contracts, and refurbishment projects.
• Support deal structuring with financial models, scenario analyses, and ROI assessments.
• Review operator reports and validate financial submissions for accuracy and compliance.
5. Audit & Compliance
• Support internal and external audit processes with timely documentation, reconciliations, and financial clarifications.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company financial policies.
• Assist in reviewing and strengthening financial governance frameworks for hospitality assets.
6. Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for senior leadership.
• Coordinate data inputs from hotel operators, commercial, legal, and business development teams to ensure financial integrity.
• Maintain organized financial documentation, reports, and audit-ready records.
Qualifications
CA or equivalent qualification preferred and relevant experience in CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
