As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Assisting the Plant Accountant in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial reports to support strategic business decision making;
• Managing accounts payable and receivable;
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives;
• Reconciling accounts and processing of claim forms;
• Verification and approval of invoices; and
• Assisting the strengthening of internal controls to ensure that the business is SOX compliant.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• CA or CPA qualification (preferred but not essential);
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential);
• Experience with financial and management reporting systems - working knowledge of SAP and EPM systems highly regarded;
• Sound business understanding and financial management expertise;
• Highly organised with strong time management skills, capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks effectively;
• Exceptional attention to detail; and
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
