Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance & Admin Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and administrative functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth daily finance processes, and full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

You will also manage key administrative matters, acting as the main liaison with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, insurers, and government authorities, ensuring the business operates efficiently and compliantly.

Job Responsibilities:

Finance (90%):

  • Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform daily account closing and ensure timely consolidation of outlet accounts
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Handle day-to-day payments, cash flow monitoring, and banking matters
  • Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Coordinate and manage tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other financial stakeholders

Administration (10%):

  • Manage business license applications and renewals
  • Oversee insurance policies and ensure timely renewals
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies on compliance matters
  • Maintain proper documentation and administrative records
  • Support general office administration and operational needs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of full-set accounts, tax, and audit processes
  • Experience handling multi-outlet or multi-entity accounts is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently

Remuneration:

MYR 7,000 - MYR 9,000 (Open to further discussion depending on experience)
