Company Profile:

Our client is an authorized distributor of Indofood products in the Philippines, they are the largest food manufacturing company in Indonesia and one of the largest instant noodle manufacturers in the world with its flagship product Indomie instant noodles.

They are currently ramping up their team in the Philippines and they are looking for a Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager who is willing to learn, confident to share ideas, and results-driven individuals to be a part of their local team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions while providing guidance, task allocation, and performance review      
• Oversee financial reporting, account reconciliations, and tax compliance, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely submission of all tax returns and regulatory reports       
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (government and tax) and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets      
• Support budgeting and forecasting by monitoring budgets, analysing variances, and providing financial insights for decision-making  
• Drive process improvements by identifying and implementing initiatives that enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy      
• Coordinate external audits by working closely with auditors throughout the audit process.       
• Ensure audit documentation is complete and accurate by preparing all required supporting documents and information

Requirements

• Philippines Resident with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• English proficiency for business, both written and verbal      
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with 2-3 years in managerial role           
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS), and hands-on knowledge of Philippine statutory compliance for a registered company — what must be filed and remitted, and by when (BIR, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG, SEC and LGU).      
• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail and able to operate Microsoft Excel
