Reporting toRegional Chief Financial Officer Japan & Korea (CFO)
DepartmentFinance and Accounting

WhatYou’llDo:

  • OverseesFinance and Accountingfor the entity, overseeing all accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Treasury, and Revenue Recognition.

  • Lead the monthend and yearend close processes, ensuring thetimelyandaccuratepreparation and publication of monthly and annual financial statements.

  • Coordinate the preparation of statutory and regulatory reporting, including tax filings and financial reporting to external financial institutions.

  • Research, interpret, and resolve technical accounting mattersto ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

  • Ensure strong internal controls and quality assuranceover financial transactions and financial reporting.

  • Oversee and manage accounting operations performed by the overseas shared service center, ensuring service quality and compliance.

  • Lead, develop, and coachFinance and Accounting team members to build a high performing organization.

  • Coordinate and direct the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting to management.

  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendationsto support management decisionmaking from a financial and strategic perspective.

  • Consolidatefinancial dataacross Japan and Korea entities and ensure consistency in reporting.

  • Lead and/or supervise global accounting or financerelated projects, asrequired

  • Perform additionalControllerlevel responsibilitiesasrequiredto support business needs.

  • Demonstratedpeople managementresponsibilities

  • 7+ years of progressive experienceacross accounting and finance functions

  • Strong,hands-onknowledge of accounting principles, standards, and procedures

  • Solid experience in preparing statutory and management financial statements

  • In depthexperience withmonth-end/ yearend close processes

  • Excellent communication skillsin both English and Japanese

  • Advancedproficiencyin accounting systems, including system administration and controls

  • Advanced Excel skillswith the ability to analyze and present financial data effectively

  • Strong learning mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and professional growth


We’dLove toSee:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager

  • CPA qualification preferred (JP / US or equivalent)

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience preferred
