Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including tax management, treasury operations, statutory financial statements, and coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities for compliance.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for relevant stakeholders.

- Supervise and streamline cash flow processes, and establish internal controls for optimal cash management.

- Assess team performance, allocating resources effectively to enhance productivity and efficiency across financial operations.

- Conduct in-depth analysis and validation of all accounting and financial data, preparing strategic insights and reports to support informed management decisions.

- Identify and evaluate financial trends and variances within company reports, providing recommendations based on these insights.

- Ensure alignment of accounting and financial reporting practices with the companys strategic goals and objectives.

- Integrate best practices to deliver precise and timely financial statements, ensuring seamless reporting to headquarters.

- Maintain adherence to all statutory and legal financial requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance across all accounting activities.

- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency for organizational success.

Qualification:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* CPA certification with an active CPD license is preferred. (a Plus+)

- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation

* 3 years in a managerial role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.(a Plus+)

- Good command of written and spoken English

* Knowledge of Japanese is preferred. (a Plus+)

* Strong skills in MS Excel; advanced proficiency is a bonus. (a Plus+)

- Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
