Pay: $65,000 - $75,000

Finance & Accounting Analysts are key contributors to the Finance and Accounting team at Raymond Storage Concepts, supporting leadership with financial analysis, reporting, data analysis, and operational insights. This role is designed for highpotential, earlycareer talent and serves as an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across multiple finance and accounting disciplines within a forklift and material handling dealership environment.

Analysts will support core accounting processes, reporting, and cross-functional projects while learning how finance supports equipment sales, rentals, service operations, parts, inventory, and customer relationships. The position is intentionally broad and developmental, allowing strong performers to grow into increasingly prominent roles on the team.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Support financial analysis used for management decision-making across dealership operations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operating departments.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports related to equipment sales, service, parts, and SG&A.
  • Help develop improved reporting tools and dashboards to enhance visibility into business performance.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and service leaders to understand financial drivers of the business.
  • Monitor and review used equipment sales throughout the month to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions.
  • Generate reports on equipment inventory and collaborate with departments to monitor and track the accuracy of inventory
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including invoicing, collections support, vendor payments, and issue resolution.
  • Perform variance analysis on key accounts and investigate fluctuations.
  • Gain exposure to dealership-specific accounting areas including inventory, fixed assets, and equipment lifecycle accounting.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and create management reports.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving financial data accuracy across systems.
  • Support reporting enhancements, automation initiatives, and data consistency efforts.
  • Participate in software upgrades or implementations related to finance and accounting systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
  • Support documentation of procedures and best practices.
  • Gradually assume ownership of projects as experience and skills develop.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is analytically strong, intellectually curious, and motivated to grow within a finance and accounting career.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, preferably from a highly regarded business school
  • 0-3 years of experience in Accountingand/or Finance role
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong Excel aptitude is critical
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build relationships across functions and geographies
  • Passion for continuous improvement and process optimization, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
