Final Test Engineer (This position may be filled at multiple levels depending on qualifications and experience)

The Final Test Department consists of engineers who are responsible for executing quality control tests internal to the factory, as well as traveling to various customer sites worldwide to support the installation of newly delivered systems.
As a Final Test Engineer, you will be working in an exciting, fast-paced manufacturing environment, testing newly built ion implanters for delivery to customers worldwide. This is a very cross-disciplined, hands-on job focused on troubleshooting, quality, and assembly. You will learn about and work directly with various sub-systems, including:
At the same time, you will be asked to develop your interpersonal skills, working in a team environment, and interfacing directly with assemblers, design engineers, software engineers, and management, as well as customer or vendor engineers and operators. Must be willing to spend as much as 20% of your time traveling, including destinations overseas (China, S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the US, and the EU).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or physical science discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics) is required. Level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

$29.14 - $49.27
This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
