We are actively seeking Final Inspector candidates to join and grow in the PPG organization. The Final Inspector will perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators).
  • Verify proper assembly, workmanship, and material integrity.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in accordance with company procedures.
  • Create and maintain inspection records, certifications, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Assist in the preparation of final inspection reports and quality documentation for customer delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines (FAA, EASA, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Work closely with quality engineers, production teams, and supply chain personnel to address quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding inspection results and recommendations

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection or a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and tools.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using inspection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Princeton Precision Group abides by applicable export control laws including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in accordance with the company's export control procedures. Most positions require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information. As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a “U.S. Person” under relevant regulations.
