Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s cultural, events and destination agency. We work to make Auckland a vibrant place to live, work and visit through events, experiences, culture, economic development and destination activity.
Screen Auckland, part of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, supports productions of all scales while advocating for the industry, and plays a key role in enabling Auckland to remain a film friendly city.
We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Film Facilitator, supporting a broad range of filming activity across Auckland’s public spaces. In this role, you’ll coordinate filming activity across Auckland’s public spaces, working alongside production companies, council stakeholders, agencies and communities to help deliver safe and successful filming outcomes.
Operating in a fast-paced and highly visible environment, you’ll work closely with production companies, council departments, CCOs, Mana Whenua and community stakeholders to facilitate successful screen production while balancing operational, regulatory and community considerations.
This role is central to maintaining Auckland’s reputation as a leading screen destination.
You’ll use sound judgement, strong relationship management skills and a collaborative approach to coordinate complex or time-sensitive filming activity across a diverse stakeholder environment. Balancing industry needs, public safety, community impact and regulatory requirements will be key to success in the role.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You’ll be an experienced and adaptable professional with a strong background in stakeholder management, operational coordination or project delivery within a complex environment.
You may bring experience from the screen industry, events, infrastructure, local government, production, operations or a similarly fast-paced sector where collaboration, sound judgement, relationship management and customer focus are critical.
An understanding of filming activity, permitting processes or local government operations would be advantageous.
To guide you further we also require:
Approx five years’ experience or more, in the screen industry, project management, events management, or a related field
A tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience
A current New Zealand driver licence

Salary Band: F
Salary is based on skillset and experience with a budgeted range of $76,000 - $85,000k per annum.
