Job Description

Pay Range: $24.97-27.74

Essential Functions:

• Taste the product and check the temperature to verify that our quality standards are met
• Inspect finished product as often as needed to ensure it is packaged according to our specifications (Date, weight, product, temperature, and taste)
• If malfunctions take place and quality standards or specifications are not met, notify your supervisor immediately
• Replenish packaging supplies as needed (Paper and ink, etc.)
• Place boxes of cartons on conveyor and place on fillers
• Make adjustments as needed to your run to ensure a smooth run and treat the cooler as your customer
• Communicate with other filler operators and the pasteurizer
• Rinse and disassemble filler every night and then hook it up for CIP (clean in place)
• Conveyors, casers, drip pans, and stackers will be cleaned each day after production
• Post filler production into computer system
• Follow sanitation procedures for filler washes
• Prep and wash Pasteurized silos.
• Clean case conveyor system.
• Clean parts in COP tank.
• Pull wash samples, and sanitizer samples as needed
• Clean and sanitize all tools, pumps, and pipes that were used during production
• Assist paper filler operators daily to ensure that the fillers are as productive as possible
• Prep, wash and sanitize silos
• Operate, wash, and reassemble all fillers
• Follow CIP (clean in place) process for the case washer
• Make bails of cardboard and plastic
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to work at a brisk pace
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, and holidays
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good math skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be responsible and reliable
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to quickly adjust schedule based on current conditions.
