
This position includes an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues.
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
· Set up product pumps and lines
· Adhere to all SOP’s for cleaning all pumps and equipment
· Checking fill weights and container coding
· Completing order requirements
· Take samples for Quality Control laboratory
· CIP and hand clean all related equipment
· Accurately complete all associated records
· Communicate effectively with all personnel
· Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
· Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
· Comply with SQF and Company Guidelines to produce a safe and quality product
· Perform other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Work environment is hot/cold/wet
· Work environment is indoors
· Work environment has consistent loud noise
· Work environment contains stairs and elevated surfaces
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Ability to communicate openly, clearly and effectively orally and in writing
· Ability to read, write, and understand English documentation
· Ability to support team environment
· Ability to work independently
Physical skills required:
· Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently
· Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually entire shift
· Ability to climb and maintain balance
· Ability to use hands extensively
· Ability to operate forklift with certification
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· High School Degree, or equivalent - Required
