An exciting opportunity awaits!

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time File Clerk to join our team in our Steinbach branch. As a File Clerk you will provide support to all staff by managing digital file records, processing and delivering mail, and responding to requests for information in a timely manner.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update filing systems, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and promptly.
  • Retrieve, scan, and distribute files as requested by staff or management.
  • Organize and archive physical and electronic documents according to retention guidelines.
  • Verify file contents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Protect confidential information and follow all privacy and security protocols.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to client files and branch documentation.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute interoffice envelopes and deliveries.
  • Support branch staff with record‑keeping inquiries and file management tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in filing, office administration, or records management an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable working with scanners, copiers, and filing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Previous credit union or financial experience would be an asset
  • Physical ability to push and lift heavy items
