The Opportunity:

We're hiring FIFO (Fly In / Fly Out) Utilities from Brisbane and nearby suburbs on a fulltime or casual- 14 days on, 7 days off roster at our remote mining Village in Central Queensland (Dugald River).

• Competitive Annual Wage – $90,000 - $95,000 plus super
• Meals, accommodation and uniforms included whilst on site (Steel cap boots included)

We have full time permanent and casual opportunities across various areas or departments within the village, such as…

Housekeeping / Cleaning:

• Cleaning resident’s rooms, storage areas and other areas within the village.
• Stripping and sealing of floors.
• Ensure resident room supplies are replenished.
• Cleaning of bathrooms.
• Emptying garbage bins
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, removing rubbish and other cleaning duties as required.

Food and Beverage / Catering Attendant:

• Provide food and beverage service to the required service standards
• Maintain the cleaning schedule.
• Ensure all cash handling is accurate and in line with procedures
• General bar duties as required.
• General kitchen hand duties as required.
• Ensure all areas or full stocked during service periods including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables.
• Emptying of garbage bins
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.

To be considered, you will need:

• MINIMUM 1 year previous experience in a FIFO or DIDO Minesite- Housekeeping, Dining Room, Tavern or Kitchen.
• Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and ability to work in a team.
• Current unrestricted driver's license.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate required for all Tavern/Retail roles.
• Ability to work on a FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport
• Police Clearance or willing to obtain one & medically fit to pass pre-employment medical
