We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support our team at FieldTurf. FieldTurf is a world leader in artificial turf with over 25,000 installations worldwide. Trusted at every level, FieldTurf is at the surface of NFL and MLS stadiums, renowned collegiate programs, elite high schools, and local community venues. Focused on innovation with purpose, FieldTurf is helping Change the Game for athletes and facility owners. The Regional Sales Manager will be working remotely in the Salt Lake City region. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share within the assigned territory. This role manages and grows a portfolio of turf industry customers including golf courses, sports complexes, municipalities, landscapers, distributors, and turf management professionals. The Regional Sales Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers by providing technical expertise, identifying business opportunities, and delivering solutions that improve turf performance and operational results.

What you’ll do: 

• Drive sales growth and expand market share within your assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships from initial contact through project completion and post-sale support.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across sports turf, golf, municipal, commercial landscaping, and other turf-related markets.
• Grow existing accounts through consultative selling, regular customer engagement, and strategic account management.
• Develop and execute territory, key account, and distributor business plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending value-added solutions.
• Build relationships with superintendents, grounds managers, athletic field managers, landscape professionals, purchasing decision-makers, distributors, and end users.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, field evaluations, and educational sessions for customers and partners.
• Support and develop distribution partners to maximize market opportunities and sales performance.
• Utilize CRM and sales reporting tools to manage opportunities, customer activity, sales forecasts, and pipeline development.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the turf industry.
• Represent FieldTurf at trade shows, conferences, industry events, and association meetings.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, customer service, and other internal teams to deliver customer solutions and exceptional service.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel as required.

What you need for success: 

• 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within turf, sports turf, golf, landscaping, construction, agriculture, or related industries.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business within an assigned territory.
• Experience building and managing relationships with distributors, turf professionals, grounds managers, contractors, and end users.
• Understanding of the turf industry, including customer segments, purchasing processes, and market dynamics.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop sales strategies.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
• Certified Turfgrass Professional (CTP), Certified Sports Field Manager (CSFM), or related certification. (preferred)
• Knowledge of agronomic practices, turf nutrition, pest management, irrigation systems, or turf equipment. (preferred)

Other Compensation:

• Commission + Bonus: This role is eligible for sales commission and a performance-based bonus.

Pay Range:

$88,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD Annually
