About Your Workplace

Based within our Service Workshop, this role plays a critical part in delivering Miele’s market-leading customer experience. Working closely with Service, Parts, Warehouse and Retail teams, you will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing and commissioning premium domestic appliances, both in the workshop and, when required, at customer premises. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer satisfaction and representing the Miele brand.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality repairs, refurbishments, conversions and commissioning of Miele appliances in the workshop and on customer premises
  • Diagnose faults and provide accurate repair quotations, including for insurance and viability assessments
  • Manage customer interactions professionally, including handling and resolving complaints within company guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service invoices and banking in line with service policies and procedures
  • Control and manage allocated stock, parts and company equipment, including service vans where applicable
  • Escalate technical or customer issues appropriately and provide support to field technicians and service agents
  • Adhere to all health, safety, quality, environmental and Chain of Responsibility requirements at all times

What We Are Looking For

Must-have:

  • Relevant state-based electrical (and/or gas) trade certification and qualifications
  • Strong electrical trades experience, ideally within appliance servicing or a related technical field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and quality outcomes
  • Strong customer service mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise work and work autonomously

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience servicing domestic appliances or working in a service workshop environment
  • Experience preparing repair quotations and working with service KPIs
  • Familiarity with stock control systems and service documentation tools
