The Field Technician Trainee (Inspector Trainee) assists Field Technicians/Inspectors in the inspection, testing, and servicing of fire protection systems. This role is intended for individuals entering the fire protection industry and provides hands-on training in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, and Special Hazards inspection services, with a defined path toward becoming a licensed and/or certified Field Technician (Inspector)
Duties and Responsibilities
Service-focused position providing continuous support to internal and external customers.
Assists Field Technicians/Inspectors with inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
Performs work in accordance with manufacturer requirements, applicable codes and standards (including NFPA), and Company policies and procedures.
Learns inspection and testing procedures with the goal of advancing into a Field Technician/Inspector role.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness in all inspection-related tasks and documentation.
Represents Eagle Fire Inc. professionally and positively during all customer interactions.
Demonstrates reliability and accountability, including working until obligations are met, which may require overtime.
Operates and utilizes inspection tools, measuring instruments, gauges, and industry-related devices.
Works toward achieving NICET certification in the assigned inspection discipline.
Maintains compliance with the Company’s Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard
Follows all Company safety policies and procedures and exercises authority to stop unsafe acts.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in fire protection inspection, life safety systems, or construction trades is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to work from heights exceeding 10 feet and in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull as required.
Ability to operate a company vehicle and travel between job sites.
Ability to travel and stay out of town when required by project or inspection schedules.
Ability to work in extreme heat and cold conditions.
Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels.
