Job Description

• Assists with movement, layout, and transplant of plant material into outdoor tubs and beds
• Participates in watering schedule for outdoor areas including hand watering and running irrigation timers
• Assists with general cleanup and weeding of outdoor areas
• Assists with general maintenance of irrigation equipment
• Assists with various greenhouse tasks as needed

Requirements

• Basic working knowledge of a greenhouse facility or landscape operation preferred
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Must enjoy getting their hands dirty and working outdoors
• Must be able to work with a team as well as stay focused when performing solo tasks
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay Range: $15.50-$16.00/Hour

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand/bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments depending on the time of year and whether tasks are being performed inside a greenhouse or out in the field

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm CST
