Field Technician - Heavy Equipment 
Manassas, VA | Vermeer All Roads Are you mechanically inclined and ready for a new challenge? Fantastic opportunity available for an  experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic. Vermeer All Roads  in Manassas, VA. Put your skills to work traveling to customer locations and repairing Vermeer machinery and components in a timely manner. Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates.  Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly pay: $28–$38 (based on experience)
  • Production bonuses available
  • Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
  • Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
  • Communicate with the factory for technical support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
