He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Join Auckland Council’s ICT Support Services team as a Field Support Analyst, delivering hands on, end to end support to our people across a wide range of locations. This role is primarily based at one hub, where you will provide hands on support, with occasional travel to other Council sites when needed.
You’ll provide first and second level support across desktop, mobile, tablet and audio visual technologies, both remotely and onsite. From troubleshooting issues to supporting projects and large scale requests, no two days will look the same.
Ngā kawenga matua: Key responsibilities
• Provide first and second line ICT support across a range of devices and systems
• Travel to Council sites to resolve issues and support users onsite as required
• Act as the local ICT contact, working closely with other support teams
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and audio visual issues
• Support projects and larger requests across multiple locations
• Maintain and contribute to the knowledge base
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Deliver a high standard of customer service in every interaction
He kōrero mōu: About you
You’re someone who enjoys being hands on, solving problems and helping people. You’re confident working independently across multiple sites and bring a strong customer focus to everything you do.
You will likely bring:
• 5+ years of Level 2 IT support experience
• Experience in Service Desk or Desktop Support
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and AV equipment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience supporting networks, printing and common business applications
• Exposure to Citrix environments is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with a wide range of users
• Good time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A full driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites
• Comfortable working onsite full time with a rostered start between 7:30am and 5:30pm
