We are looking for a qualified EV Field Supervisor

Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation and deployment of EV charging stations across multiple project sites throughout the United States. This role coordinates with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses strong field leadership experience, technical knowledge of electrical systems and EV charging infrastructure, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Travel within the United States is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise field installation activities for EV charging station projects across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, electricians, inspectors, utility providers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and field progress to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Identify project risks, field issues, and installation challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-site support during EV charger installations and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and federal codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues related to EV charging equipment and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate inspections with municipal authorities, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Verify installation quality and ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to inspections, compliance activities, field reports, permits, and project records.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures across all project sites.
  • Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and final acceptance processes.
  • Travel to project sites throughout the United States as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience supervising electrical construction, EV charging infrastructure, or related field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the United States.
  • Electrical Contractor’s License preferred.
