What You’ll Do

As a Field Supervisor, to support our District Manager out of our White Plains Securitas Office and provide support in the Hudson Valley area. In this key leadership role, you will oversee shifts and/or segments of guarding operations across multiple sites, working closely with a District Manager. You will supervise account managers, supervisors, and security officers, conduct site inspections, ensure post orders and assignment instructions are followed, coach and train team members, vehicle maintenance, and complete administrative tasks in support of the district operations. The ideal candidate has strong field experience in operations, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

  1. Supervises Security Officers and/or other personnel, as assigned; ensures that personnel deliver high-quality service; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
  2. Meets with Branch management and/or client representatives for status updates and addressing any actual or potential problems; provides support during client start-ups; provides security planning, assessments, and surveys; reviews post orders and communicates requirements and changes to affected personnel.
  3. Participates in and coordinates with Branch management the orientation, training, development, and retention of high caliber staff; ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect.
  4. Assigns and directs work; coaches’ employees and conducts disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as appropriate in fulfilling their respective responsibilities; refers problematic issues to Branch management.
  5. Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; acts to ensure that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  6. Communicates and coordinates with Branch management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services; meets with Branch management and other Field Supervisors to discuss customer service, initiatives, personnel matters, and related issues.
  7. Inspects client sites as assigned to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with post orders; visits client representatives to ensure they remain satisfied with services provided; covers vacant posts, as necessary.
  8. Reviews client and company required reports for accuracy and timeliness; assists in preparing and submitting payroll and billing information. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience that sets you apart:

  • High school diploma/GED and 2+ years of relevant security or supervisory experience (or equivalent), with a clean driving record and full compliance with company screening and licensing requirements.
  • Proven composure and professionalism under pressure, including urgent situations and interactions with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
  • Experience positively directing and disciplining staff while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Effective communication and basic tech skills: clear speaking, writing, observing/reporting, keyboarding, and computer use.

The pay range for this role is $26.00–$28.00 per hour. The exact rate within this range will depend on factors such as geographic location, experience, and skills. We have two positions available, with shifts as follows: Wednesday–Sunday, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. and Wednesday–Sunday, 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m.
