What this job involves –
This role involves continuing to maintain Meijer stores to service Technicians in the regions, while also working closely with the POC Operations Manager to take on more responsibility. This position includes many duties such as providing operational support to provide quality, safety guidance and expertise, drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties (reporting, presentation) and communications to the team.

What is your day to day?

  • Assist Operations Manager with Administration duties.

  • On board new technicians

  • Work in Field to Train technicians in job skills to reduce contractor spend.

  • Train technicians in Following Corrigo procedures.

  • Train Technicians to correctly follow Abukai process and missing receipts.

  • Assist technicians in repair of assigned equipment.

  • Find and assist in training opportunities for technicians to ensure 90% Self Perform and minimum SLA scores of 97% acknowledge, 90% on Site and 90% completion with 3.8 or higher store director surveys

  • Complete skill assessments for technicians to identify training opportunities and coordinate with Training manager Chuck Ball

  • Ensure technicians have their UST certification and are up to date.

  • Complete on the spot Safety checks with Technicians.

  • Manage PM completion and follow up on PM’s to make sure procedures are followed correctly and to make sure PM budget money is spend and in correct Period

  • Reduce parts spend and costs, ensure techs are utilizing 971 and 104 for parts prior to ordering from vender/supplier

  • Able to communicate between technicians and operations manager and client.

  • Good computer skills including Word, excel documents.

  • Required qualifications:

    • HS diploma or equivalent.

    • Minimum six years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineering.

    • Valid driver's license with ability to travel between multiple client sites.

    Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.

    • Experience with JLL facility management systems such as Corrigo.

    • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and building operations.

    Demonstratedability to train and develop technical teams.

    • Flexibility toworkvaried schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Background in preventive maintenance program development and implementation.

    • Strong analytical skills for performance metric tracking and reporting.

    • Experience with capital project planning and execution.

    • Professional certifications in facilities management or building engineering.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • UST Certified for Fuel Stations for KY/Ohio and Indiana

  • Valid driver license.
