Salary From £41,157with 10% bonus and single person healthcare

Working as part of a dynamic team to ensure safe,efficientand compliant day-to-day operational management of ScottishPower Renewables' (SPR) wind farm portfolio, you will beallocateda number ofsites to pro-actively manage, co-ordinate and close-out local issues directly and via sub-contractors where present.

Whatyou’llbe doing

Responsible for the safe,compliantand efficient operation ofallocatedwind farm sites, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. You will carry out site inspections,auditsand risk assessments, proactivelyidentifyingissuesand coordinating corrective actions tomaintainhigh operational standards.

Working closely with contractors and stakeholders, you will provide active site supervision to ensure maintenance and operational activities are planned,scheduledand completed safely, efficiently and to the required technical standards. You will also support wind turbine inspections, local fault response, limited HVoperationsand contribute to site performance monitoring and key operational targets.

As a key member of the operations team, you will support budget planning, resourcemanagementand the development of site procedures and policies. You will liaise with landowners, emergency services and other stakeholders, provide emergency call-out support whenrequired, and work collaboratively to ensure consistent operational performance across the portfolio.

Whatyou’llbring

· Sound knowledge of electro-mechanical generating plant and apparatus

· Educated to HNC, orappropriate City & Guildslevel (or equivalent in either an electrical ormechanical discipline) or equivalent transferable practical experience

· Sound knowledge and practical experience of working under the Company Safety Rules orequivalent 'rule based' systems

· Goodorganisationaland interpersonal skills

· Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment anddemonstratea positiveapproach to change

· High degree ofself motivationwith a flexible approach to work

· Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

·PreviousWindfarm technician/supervision experience desirable

· Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications as aminimum, as well as familiarity with SCADA systems
