NJR Home Services, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Field Supervisor in the Farmingdale office to provide leadership for the Central Division’s appliance service and installation operations with an emphasis on profitability, quality, and safety.
Major Responsibilities:
• Abide by the conditions of employment included in, but not limited to the NJR Code of Conduct.
• Oversee Labor/Management interactions as defined by the terms and conditions stated in the Articles of Agreement between NJR Home Services and Local Union 1820 of the IBEW, AFL-CIO.
• Vehicle management responsibilities including inventory and cycle counts and responsibility for facility maintenance.
• Accountable for implementation of quality efforts that include, but not limited to, procedures, benchmarking, satisfaction surveys, performance standards, and follow-up.
• Removes the barriers for the workforce to improve time available and job performance.
• Work with team members to develop ways of performing work better, faster, quicker, and more efficiently for continuous improvement.
• Calculate costs of doing business and cost out alternatives for services provided.
• Commit to coaching team members and providing feedback in developing technical skills and maintaining safe practices on the job.
• Conduct regular field visits and evaluations and address customers concerns.
• Work with Sales and Installation Supervisor to ensure jobs are set-up and installed properly.
• Ensure all employees receive and maintain all necessary training to service, install and work safely.
• Lead for all physical training, testing and evaluation of new union employees.
Position Requirements:
• Vocational or technical training in HVAC, or an equivalent combination of education and hands on field experience.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in HVAC operations, field service, or a related trade environment.
• Demonstrated experience working in a skilled trade or technical specialty, with broad knowledge of HVAC systems and field practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and support field teams.
• Proficiency with personal computers and common business applications (e.g., work order systems, email, spreadsheets).

Other Details:
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $86,500 - $116,500
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
