As a Field Specialist IV – WBC, you will be responsible for providing specialized Wellbore Construction (WBC) services at customer locations. You will leverage your technical expertise and field experience to execute medium- to high-risk applications, support operational excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction through safe and efficient service delivery.

As a Field Specialist IV – WBC, you will apply your in-depth knowledge of drilling, completion, and workover operations to support successful job execution. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams while maintaining compliance with operational, quality, and safety requirements.
As a Field Specialist IV – WBC, you will be responsible for:
Executing Wellbore Construction applications in accordance with established procedures, customer requirements, and safety standards.
Running multiple medium- to high-risk applications within the Wellbore Construction Product Group.
Supporting low- to medium-risk applications across other product groups, as required.
Applying comprehensive knowledge of drilling, completion, and workover rig operations to ensure successful service execution.
Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Wellbore Construction equipment and related tools.
Providing technical support and guidance during field operations to ensure optimal performance and service quality.
Collaborating effectively with customers, field personnel, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Maintaining accurate operational documentation, service reports, and job records.
Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Promoting a positive safety culture and supporting operational risk management initiatives.
Sharing technical knowledge and best practices with team members to support operational excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a two-year Technical Degree from an accredited institution, preferred.
Have relevant industry experience and Wellbore Construction product line training.
Have demonstrated competency in running multiple medium- to high-risk Wellbore Construction applications.
Have the ability to support low- to medium-risk applications across other product groups.
Have a thorough understanding of drilling, completion, and workover rig operations.
Have strong mechanical aptitude and application proficiency within at least one Wellbore Construction product line.
Have effective troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
Have the ability to perform successfully in a dynamic field environment while managing multiple operational priorities.
Work in a Way That Works for You
This role may require travel, rotational schedules, and field-based work assignments based on customer and operational requirements.
Work Schedule: 21-days-on, 7-days-off rotational schedule, with 24/7 on-call availability
