Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Specialist III – Completions to join our Operations team. The role is responsible for the preparation and execution of completion operations, ensuring the safe installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of downhole and surface equipment while meeting customer requirements, quality standards, and HSE expectations.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in both onshore and offshore environments, supporting complex completion projects, well integrity systems, and production optimization activities while delivering exceptional service quality and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute completion projects from preparation through commissioning.
  • Supervise field installation, testing, and commissioning activities onshore and offshore.
  • Coordinate operations with customers, drilling and completion teams, and third-party service providers.
  • Prepare running tallies, tubing tallies, installation documentation, and operational records.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause investigations on downhole and surface equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, customer specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare operational reports, end-of-well reports, lessons learned, and technical documentation.
  • Support pre-job planning, equipment readiness reviews, and post-job evaluations.
  • Monitor field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful execution of completion activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Completion Operations, Well Integrity, Well Construction, or related Oil & Gas services.
  • Experience with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of:
    • Permanent Downhole Gauges (PDHG)
    • Surface Acquisition Units (SAU/DAU)
    • Fiber Systems
    • Production Packers
    • Safety Valves (SCSSV)
    • Chemical Injection Valves
    • Gas Lift Mandrels
    • Barrier Devices
    • Landing Nipples
    • Wellhead and Completion Accessories
  • Experience working in both onshore and offshore environments.
  • Strong understanding of completion systems, well integrity principles, and production operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, completion schematics, and operational procedures.
  • Knowledge of industry HSE standards and operational best practices.
  • Strong communication, customer-facing, and project coordination skills.
