We are seeking a motivated Field Specialist 2 – TRS (Tubular Running Services) to support offshore drilling and completion operations. The role is responsible for assisting in the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of TRS activities on offshore rigs, including deepwater environments.
The successful candidate will participate in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of TRS equipment while working closely with senior Field Specialists and Supervisors. This position requires strong technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to support offshore operations while developing expertise in TRS equipment, products, and well-site activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute TRS operations safely and efficiently on offshore drilling rigs.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot TRS equipment and associated tools.
• Ensure all field activities comply with Weatherford's HSE, Quality, and operational procedures.
• Deliver operations with a focus on minimizing Non-Productive Time (NPT) and maintaining operational reliability.
• Monitor tool performance and identify potential operational risks before failures occur.
• Support offshore deepwater operations and ensure equipment readiness prior to deployment.
• Coordinate with client representatives, drilling crews, and offshore personnel during operations.
• Maintain accurate operational reports, service documentation, and job records.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments before operations.
• Support training initiatives and collaborate with field crews to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication in offshore environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency and service quality.
• Comply with company policies, industry regulations, and offshore safety standards at all times.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of TRS tools, equipment, and offshore rig operations.
• Sound understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and electronics.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational and technical issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety practices and HSE compliance.
• Good analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify operational risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in offshore environments and rotational schedules.
• Basic computer proficiency and operational reporting knowledge.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Certificate, Diploma, or ITI qualification from a recognized Technical/Vocational Institute preferred.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Tubular Running Services (TRS) and 6-10 years of overall Oil & Gas field operations experience.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in TRS (Tubular Running Services) operations.
• Proven offshore field experience, preferably supporting deepwater drilling operations.
• Experience working on offshore rigs in demanding operational environments.
• Knowledge of offshore drilling and completion processes.
• Prior experience with Weatherford TRS tools and offshore systems is preferred.
• Valid offshore certifications as required for offshore assignments.
