Field Specialist IV – Fishing, Milling & Well Intervention Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Employment Type: Temporary / Contract Contract Duration: 3–6 months Industry: Oilfield Services / Well Intervention Role Overview Seeking an experienced Field Specialist to lead rig-site fishing, milling and well intervention operations, ensuring safe execution, effective troubleshooting and reliable downhole tool performance. Key Responsibilities Lead assigned cased-hole fishing, milling, whipstock/casing exit, permanent cut & pull, thru-tubing and single-section milling operations within demonstrated competency. Prepare, inspect, operate, redress and maintain downhole tools. Review well conditions, select appropriate tools and verify equipment compatibility. Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions with customers and drilling crews. Complete job reports, equipment records and technical documentation. Maintain HSE compliance and mentor junior field personnel. Support on-call assignments and travel as required. Requirements Requirements Minimum 6 years of relevant oilfield experience, including proven lead-hand capability in fishing, milling or well intervention. Strong knowledge of fishing tools, whipstock systems and/or thru-tubing equipment; experience across multiple applications preferred. Practical understanding of downhole conditions, rotating equipment, vibration and harmonics. High school diploma, engineering qualification or equivalent relevant experience. Strong English communication, technical reporting and field leadership skills. UAE/GCC experience is an advantage. Available for a 3–6-month assignment in Abu Dhabi.
